To All of the Leaders of WAR,

My special thanks to all of you for attending the Region meeting and your wonderful and steadfast support of me. The meeting we had last Saturday may never be repeated to the high standards it was, but I will give my best for next years. This will be my last as your Region Director having completed my office term limits.

It is hard for me to believe that four years have passed since I picked up the gavel for this office. I have made many changes, some very subtle and may not of been known to most of you. These changes had to be accomplished to change the direction of this Region but again changes can only be done with the cooperation of all of you. There will be more within the coming months that are very necessary to keep this Region on a positive scale.

I'm very thankful to our special guest DD Jerry Sherman who has supported me since I was a Section Chief, Division Legal Bob Scarlett, Pamm Ferguson, Gerit Lewisch BOD, and Bill Boulter who was gracious to put aside his busy schedule to drive eight hours to attend and explain the Awards process to the all of you and "PUT' up with me. Last but never least are my Section Chiefs--Steve Schopfer, Eastern, Jim Jacobs, Western and Marty Silverman, Southern, that work so hard and diligently to help the patrollers in their sections. We are all available to one and all to help out when you have a problem that can not be resolved with in your ranks.

Thanks again, you are a special group that has made this Region the most outstanding in the Division. Hopefully next years will be as exciting and helpful. I will do my best.
